Serveron Monitoring SERVICE |
|||
|
Serveron provides turnkey asset monitoring services, 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year. Authorized personnel
can access our secure web site to view complete asset status and
fault condition information. Trended data history gives you the information
you need to make accurate, cost-effective decisions on maintenance and
capital expenditures. And when our monitoring technicians receive information
that relates to fault conditions, we communicate with designated utility
personnel by page, e-mail, fax, or phone whatever it takes to get
this critical information to you on time.

Complete turnkey service from start to finishThe Serveron Monitoring Service begins with a complete site and asset survey to determine the exact instrumentation and site preparation requirements. Items including power availability, physical mounting preparations, and cabling needs are fully itemized and documented before we install the monitoring instruments. Serveron's field technicians complete a full field verification of system performance and provide a complete documentation package for the utility and for Serveron's reference. The installation isn't complete until we conduct a full training program for your utility personnel. We demonstrate access and content of the Web-based information delivery system, and the security systems that maintain the confidentiality of the utility's asset information. We demonstrate and test the paging, e-mail, fax, and phone notification systems, and work with you to develop and document the asset-by-asset notification hierarchy. Our notification systems easily accommodate personnel changes by hour and day, as well as utility-initiated exceptions to the notification sequence. Once we've successfully completed the training and notification system validation, Serveron's utility asset monitoring begins. Round-the-clock asset monitoringServeron monitoring instruments communicate with us at least once every four hours to update asset status and to ensure that monitoring instruments are fully functional. We operate and maintain all aspects of the monitoring system for the duration of the monitoring contract, including instrumentation operation, maintenance, and consumable replenishment. We work with you to prearrange all necessary on-site activities, which are performed by qualified personnel. If there's ever a problem with the monitoring instrumentation or communications, we let you know within eight hours of the onset of the problem and we'll dispatch field personnel to restore monitoring. If that doesn't happen within seventy-two hours, we waive the monitoring fees until monitoring service is restored. Serveron maintains multiple, geographically distant servers to collect and maintain the utility asset information database. Servers are operated from secure facilities with emergency power and protection from natural disaster. Data is backed up over the Internet between sites to ensure that neither information nor active monitoring is compromised in the event of a server site failure. All monitored data is automatically scanned by Serveron's proprietary fault detection algorithms to detect fault conditions or maintenance indications. Every event is reviewed and confirmed by Serveron personnel to guard against false positive alarms and alerts. |
